What is the Appreciative Education Conference?
Are you boldly committed to creating educational spaces where people love to learn, work, and thrive?
Join us for the 2025 Virtual Appreciative Education Conference, where we will gather as a community to celebrate, share, and be inspired by the great work of PreK-12 and Higher Education educators who apply an Appreciative approach in their work and daily lives. We will celebrate how Appreciative Education is applied in PreK-12 and college and university campuses. Presenters will their latest research and innovative practices on Appreciative Education topics to inspire others to make a difference at their respective campuses.
Get ready to celebrate, , and be inspired!
You will hear from keynote speakers leading the field and learn from many presenters who will deliver engaging and interactive concurrent sessions about their research or innovative practices related to Appreciative Education. We will offer various Appreciative topic tracks designed for our diverse audience representing the PreK-12, Higher Education, or PreK-16 (combined PreK-12 and Higher Education) sectors. We invite you to follow a track or create your own adventure throughout the virtual conference. This will be a conference like no other!

What is the Virtual Format Like?
The Virtual Appreciative Education Conference will be hosted on the Oxford Abstracts platform and will connect attendees to each session via Zoom. Participants will join the Zoom link provided for each conference session they select. Because presenters are encouraged to incorporate active learning techniques into their presentations, please plan to have your cameras on to interact and learn with and from colleagues during each session.
What are the Technology Requirements?
Because we will be using Zoom, a virtual meeting platform, participants will need the following:
- A computer with a camera and a microphone
- A strong Internet connection

Registration Policies
Group Registration: If you are an institutional contact responsible for registering people from your institution, please contact Smita Patel (patels@ventadoors.com), Katherine McSweeney (kmcsweeney2019@ventadoors.com) and the Office of Appreciative Education (oae@ventadoors.com) for group registration instructions.
Discounts: We have intentionally set a low conference registration fee to make it more affordable for participants. Therefore, we are unable to offer additional discounts.
Add-ons: If you have already registered your team and decide later that you want to add one or more persons later, the price of their registration will correspond to the date when they were added ($95 Before Oct 1, 2024; $125 Oct 2-Nov 5, 2024; $150 Nov 6-Dec 10, 2024).
Refunds and Transfers: We will allow registration refunds (full price minus a $15 processing fee) until December 10, 2024. After December 10, 2024, registration refunds will not be granted; however, a registration may be transferrable to another participant to attend the 2025 Appreciative Education Conference. We will accept registration transfers until 5 p.m. EST on Friday, January 3, 2025.
